A Havanese is a rare dog from Cuba. They are small in stature and do not weigh
more than 13 lbs. Yet they are neither fragile nor yappy. They will give you the
heads up when company is coming. They love people. They love to play and clown
around. They will give you and the family cat hours of entertainment. They are
very intelligent and loyal.
Havanese are hypo-allergenic and have soft silky hair instead of fur, so they do
not shed. One of their nick names is THE CUBAN SILK DOG.
They come in many colors. Our dogs live in the house with us. They are a big
part of our family.
Parents have their eyes CERF tested. They are well socialized with people as
well as horses, cats and other dogs.
It is very important to us to match the right dog with it's new family. After
all, they will be a part of your family for the next 12-15 years. It is also
important that our dogs go to loving and responsible homes.
